E

17 September, 2013

The Sydney Environment Institute at the University of Sydney has been established to address the central problems of our time: how we understand and redesign the fundamental relationship between human communities and the natural world that supports them, and how we enable the positive adaptation of people and societies to environmental change.

The directors:
– Professor Iain McCalman
– Professor David Schlosberg

The SEI is comprised of research groups focused on the social impacts of climate change, human/non-human relations, environment and culture, sustainable cities, food security, and organizational adaptation in both the public and private realm.
